Common questions
- Is Raven a PSA (professional services automation) tool?
- Raven covers the delivery side of PSA for software consultancies: timesheets, utilization, allocations, project budgets, change orders, health and releases. It does not invoice clients. Change orders hand off to invoicing with the evidence attached.
- Does Raven replace Keka timesheets?
- No. Time entry and approval stay in Keka. Raven syncs the entries, sorts them into seven work categories, counts hours still awaiting approval (with the unapproved share shown), and reports utilization on top.
- How is utilization calculated mid-month?
- Approved and pending Keka hours both count, and every combined figure shows how much is still unapproved. Utilization is not understated before approvals land.
- What happens to a multi-year project budget?
- The Keka hour budget is split into calendar-year periods that always add up to Keka's total. Each page judges the current year, and last year's overrun shows as a small carrying note instead of a red alarm.
